inheritthewind...and I haven't really yet, but on a whim about a week ago, I remembered that the series was over so I read up the ending on the fandom wiki and was, like, "........wtf." I still couldn't remember which chapter I stopped reading at, or where might be a good place to pick up (Oh!Great seriously took about 50 chapters from the Victor Hugo Book Of Digression), so I just picked up the last handful of volumes when I was at Kinokuniya yesterday.
And there was this shit at the end:
No, you remember correctly: Kiric was last seen as a dismembered head in Sora's lap after Sora killed Kiric through Kiric's tears about ~the way they were~ or whatever. This is just Sora hallucinating Kiric while Sora falls from the sky through a shower of debris because I guess that was just what came to mind or, you know, Kiric's spirit is actually metaphysically with him, whatever floats your boat.
So there's that.
And other stuff, too, but also that, and that's pretty gay.
